A Few More Changes To Battlecam

     There are a few more tweaks to Battlecam this morning. The timer is back in and also a directory of all the private channels. Another change is being able to embed youtube videos in the chat. I'm not quite sure about this change, I think it's a great feature for private channels but not for the main page. Just like when pictures are enabled, people like to go a bit too far. The chat box is just to small to add anything else in there. What do you guys think of the new changes?

Battlecam Gets A Facelift

     You've probably seen the new design on Battlecam today and I think it looks pretty good. It makes the site look a bit more modern and the colors look great, but one thing needs to be changed, The Chat Window is smaller than ever. I thought the previous chat window was small but the new one is just plain tiny. You can only see what 9 to 10 people are saying at a time, which is not nearly enough space for a room full of people. What do you guys think of the new design?

Attack of The Clones

     After seeing more and more Clone account names in the chat I decided to test it out and see if it was as easy as Litigator demonstrated. Earlier Today when Litigator was casting in the main channel I made a new account on Battlecam using his name "Litigator" and was surprised by what else happened. I started to receive Private Messages meant for the original Litigator. I guess since I signed in after he did with the same chat name, he was bumped and I got all his PM's. I got quite a few from Umad_brah calling me a Fat Affirmitive Action Attorney and a few more from others asking various questions meant for the real litigator. So not only can someone copy your chat name, but if they sign in after you, only they will show up in the user list and may be getting the PM's meant for you.

Abrupt Changes on Battlecam.com

     Well, I just got home a few minutes ago after being out all day and apparently a lot of stuff went down earlier that I'm still trying to catch up on in the archives. It appears that as of now, the Manginainc blog is no longer linked from the main page and all challenges offered by Alki are currently suspended along with the Forum being taken down. If I missed any other big changes, let me know.

Moderator Genocide

 After weeks and weeks of everyone complaining about the large number of shitty corrupt mods on Battlecam, Alki finally took charge and undertook a mass un-moderation. It all started when ChromeTuna came in ranting about Lily's claim that his tattoo is a fake (hasn't been proven either way yet). I just hope this is permanent change, but I have a feeling more unqualified mods will be added in the weeks to come.

Sweep it under the rug

 In an attempt to clean up the site for potential advertisers, Alki had the private channels removed from the main page after a reported "fapping incident" in the jail. You can still head in to private channels if you know the url (ie. Battlecam.com/derzko20) but you will have to figure out on your own if they are even casting.

Alki just announced that he has made a deal with Spike Tv for a Battlecam Segment to appear on on Friday nights. We be on TV?
